1. What should I do if Gateway fails to start?

Check the log output in Settings → Gateway panel. Common causes:

  • Port already in use: Restart the app or manually kill the process occupying the port
  • Corrupted config file: Delete the ~/.singclaw/ directory and restart

2. File analysis timing out?

Large files (Excel with >2000 rows) may cause Gateway processing timeouts. Suggestions:

  • Split large files into smaller parts
  • Use CSV format instead of XLSX (faster to parse)

3. Image OCR recognition inaccurate?

OCR accuracy depends on image quality. Suggestions:

  • Use clear, high-resolution images
  • Avoid handwriting or decorative fonts
  • Ensure sufficient contrast in text areas

4. How do I switch AI models?

Settings → Provider Settings → Select a different Provider and model.

5. macOS shows "Cannot verify developer"?

System Settings → Privacy & Security → Click "Open Anyway."
